April 29, 2002 Writing Power is Out and Available! You may read the Introduction to Writing Power. or place your order for immediate shipment New Year's Day, 2002 We're busily working on Writing Power. Many chapters are in the final stages of page layout/design. We expect to go to the printer this month! Here is the (hopefully) final draft of the Introduction to Writing Power. We will start taking advance orders on or about January 7th. Check the bottom of the Writing Power Introduction for more information. late-November, 2001 It's looking more and more like Beverly will be able to send Writing Power to the printer sometime in mid-January, 2002! (She came up with several "brain storms" this fall that have made the program much better.) She has given sections of the book to John for preliminary layout and page design. Once the pages have gone to the printer, we will send out both regular mail and/or e-mail announcements to everyone on our list and begin to take orders. Thanks for your patience.. September, 2001 Beverly is still "plugging along," getting closer and closer to completing Writing Power! While it will not be finished in time for the beginning of the 2001-2002 school year, it should be done by Christmas!
April 30, 2001 As we go through Spring, here in Pomeroy, Beverly is hard at work on Writing Power. We are looking forward to a press date in mid-August, 2001, with the book available to you in late-August or early-September, 2001. March 31, 2000 Recently, while home schooling with our 6-year old daughter, Brittany Ann, Beverly was told, "I don't ever want to learn writing!" Beverly asked her why and was told, "All you ever do is write! You never have time to spend with me!" Beverly and I sat down and thought about and discussed what Brittany Ann had told her. Yes, it was true. Beverly was spending 8-9 hours a day writing and polishing while I was spending another 4 or 5 working on design, layout, printers, and on and on. "I really want this book to be out close to when it has been promised," Beverly told me, "But Brittany is our number one priority right now." Having raised two older girls (now 23 and 25), we realize that Brittany Ann won't be six much longer. So we have officially decided that Writing Power will be out, "When it is finished." We apologize to anyone who is waiting for it and based on the number of phone calls we receive, there are a lot of home schooling families awaiting its arrival. Thank you for your understanding.
