The projects are organized into 6 sections:

Each experiment is presented in a consistent teacher-friendly format:

  • Teacher information (2-pages): materials list, experiment objective, science background, step-by-step teaching procedure
  • Reproducible student investigation sheet: students record observations and draw conclusion
  • Reproducible experiment icons: students are asked what they think will happen in the experiment. The icons are place on a graph to record the class responses.

This 1993 edition book has 70 experiments and 224 pages. The expanded 2003 edition includes an additional 3 experiments for a total of 73 and expands the book to 304 pages.
