Some of our best animal friends in the Zoo are featured here, as well as some not so well known. The stories are well done and the colored pictures remarkably fine and true to life. First published in London in 1920 by Thomas Nelson, this publication by Platt & Munk is the first American edition. Hardcover, yellow cloth binding, 8 x 10.5 inches, endpapers illustrated in black and white, twelve full-color full-page illustrations (including frontis), black-and-white illustrations provided for the remaining 28 animals included in the book.
