Seattle-area Writer Named Christian Writer of the Year

Seattle, WA. -- Beverly L. Adams-Gordon was named Writer of
The Year at the American Christian Writers' Conference on
February, 16. Adams-Gordon was honored during a banquet at
the SeaTac Radison Hotel, site of the three-day conference.

According to Reg A. Forder, Director of American Christian
Writers, Adams-Gordon was selected for the annual award
because of the outstanding success of her book Spelling
Power. Spelling Power, an individualized, multi-age spelling
program, is popular with home schoolers, as well as classroom
teachers. It is published by Castlemoyle Books, a Seattle
publishing company specializing in home school materials.

In addition to Spelling Power, Adams-Gordon is the author of
over 500 newspaper and magazine articles, former editor of
a children's newspaper and a trade magazine, and the author
of three other educational titles. She is currently working
on another book of interest to home school families.
