    The Spelling Power Digital Tutor takes advantage of the multimedia capabilities of your personal computer. When entering a spelling list, the teacher uses a microphone to record each spelling word. She can also break the words down phonetically, or use them in a sentence. The Digital Tutor then uses these digital recordings to teach, drill and test your students on their spelling.

    The Spelling Power Digital Tutor is included in the Spelling Power 4th Edition Manual. This is the only version of Spelling Power currently available, so if you are purchasing Spelling Power from us, there is no need to also purchase the Digital Tutor.

     The Spelling Power Digital Tutor is not a replacement for the 5 minutes of testing that starts each Spelling Power session. It is an audio-visual activity that can be used during the 5 minute reinforcing spelling skills session that ends each spelling day.

   Important Note: Since it is a stand-alone product, the Digital Tutor also works with any earlier edition of Spelling Power. The 4th Edition -- released in April 2006 -- comes with the Digital Tutor.
